Sub-Miniature
A small form factor for concealment in constrained placements and everyday objects.
The K9-SAT-002 is a sub-miniature listening device built for concealment and endurance — a small bugging device with voice-activation and burst transmission to minimise its on-air footprint.
Where the K9-SAT-001 prioritises link performance, the K9-SAT-002 prioritises size and survivability. It is a concealed listening device small enough for difficult placements, with a covert microphone tuned for room intelligibility, retaining the same AES-128 encrypted, frequency-hopping architecture.
Voice-activation (VOX) and store-and-forward burst modes mean the device only transmits when there is audio worth sending, reducing the on-air signature to seconds per day. That defeats periodic RF sweeps and dramatically extends deployment life — the two things that matter most for a long-duration covert placement.
A small form factor for concealment in constrained placements and everyday objects.
VOX triggering transmits only when audio is present, conserving power and reducing exposure.
Store-and-forward bursts compress the on-air footprint to seconds, defeating timed sweeps.
Full AES-128 encryption and FHSS, identical to the core transmitter.
Low duty-cycle operation greatly extends deployment life on a single battery.
Board-level supply available for integration into bespoke concealments.
